Quickstart

  1. 1Have a Claude Pro subscription? You already have access! Go to: anthropic.com/claude/code
  2. 2Click 'Connect Claude Code' to link to your terminal (one-click setup)
  3. 3Or install manually: Open Terminal (Mac: Cmd+Space, type 'Terminal')
  4. 4Run: npm install -g @anthropic-ai/claude-code
  5. 5Navigate to any project folder: cd ~/your-project
  6. 6Start Claude Code: claude

Pro Tips

  • •Dangerous Mode: Run 'claude --dangerously-skip-permissions' to avoid repeated permission prompts. Use with caution!
  • •Safety Rule: Tell Claude Code to never delete files permanently—always move to a Desktop/Trash folder instead.
